Requirements

  • A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years’ accounting or mortgage servicing/processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience are required.
  • Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.
  • TFCU University certification required.
  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
  • Valid driver’s license, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Knowledge of TFCU policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of life cycle of mortgage loans: importing new loans into accounting system, timely payment of real estate insurance and payment postings.
  • Knowledge of real estate practice and real estate law.
  • Ability to assist members regarding their Escrow Account.
  • Knowledge of loan policies, loan rate structure, and federal lending regulations.
  • Knowledge of TFCU teller, accounting, and lending functions and TFCU products.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to provide good organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and efficient maintenance of the life cycle of mortgage loans from new loans to loan payoff.
  • Maintaining accurate proof of insurance and ensure insurance is paid in a timely manner.
  • Providing monthly reports to management.
