About The Position
Key member of the Mortgage Secondary Marketing team within First Horizon Bank and will be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to the hedging of the mortgage secondary pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience with trading and hedging techniques
- Advanced understanding and application of risk management and operational risk
- Advanced modeling, spreadsheet, and database skills
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Microsoft Office Suite
- MIAC, QRM, Optimal Blue, Encompass, Bloomberg, Tradeweb
Responsibilities
- Manages and analyzes the mortgage secondary pipeline and executes hedging and pool trading transactions
- Manages and monitors hedge performance by reviewing reports to mitigate risk while providing accurate data
- Utilizes advanced analytic and modeling skills to support secondary marketing functions around loan pricing and fallout
- Assist with mortgage valuation analytics, report development, testing and feedback
- Complies with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and investor guidelines
- Establishes and maintains secondary market investor and dealer relationships
- Performs all other duties as assigned
