  • 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience
  • Working knowledge of the mortgage lending process, including the underwriting, processing, closing, and compliance areas

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC underwriting standards and Seller/Servicer guidelines is desired
  • FHA/VA and Non-QM experience is desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-funding audits to ensure adherence with Bank guidelines and procedures
  • Preform Post-Close QC audits of all closed loan documentation to ensure adherence bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.
  • Re-validate prudent loan information in files to ensure their accuracy
  • Assist in compiling trending data for audit reports for Sr. Management
  • Communicate decisions to all parties and build relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Oversight over post-closing reverifications, exclusionary lists, and concurrent rates of post-closing QC vendors
  • Assist in configuring LoanSafe Fraud Manager via Client Supplied Watchlist, FNMA’s AQM, and other data ingestion
