About The Position

We're looking for a full time, detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our mortgage operations team! Adams Bank & Trust is a regional, family-owned bank, approaching 110 years of successful operation, with branches in Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, and Arizona. We provide a full range of Commercial, Ag, Retail, and Mortgage banking products and pride ourselves on serving our communities. Are you detail-oriented and passionate about helping people finance their dream homes? We're looking for a motivated Mortgage Processor to bring efficiency, accuracy, and top-tier service to our Mortgage Department! This position will be based in North Platte or Ogallala, Nebraska or Fort Collins, Colorado. However, consideration would be given to work from any branch location in Colorado or Nebraska with flexibility to travel for training, especially in the first 90 days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and digital tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years of mortgage processing or loan documentation experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Submit loans via DU/DO, LP & pull credit reports
• Review applications for accuracy & follow up on missing docs
• Communicate with borrowers, originators, and your team
• Prepare complete closing packages
• Work with title companies to balance and finalize closings
• Send out approval/denial letters
• Input and track files in the system
• Submit files to underwriting/investors
• Pay fees and ensure all paperwork is recorded properly
• Meet lock expiration dates to avoid pricing penalties
• Balance wires and purchase advice for accurate funding
