About The Position

Educational Systems FCU is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Servicing Manager to oversee all first mortgage and equity loan servicing functions. This includes post-closing secondary market and capital market activities, loan sales, investor reporting, delinquency monitoring, and remittance processes. The role ensures compliance with agency, investor, federal, state, NCUA, and internal policies. The manager will lead a service team, improve process efficiency, maintain data integrity, and manage relationships with investors, custodians, and stakeholders. Collaboration with senior management on secondary and capital market relationships is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years progressively responsible mortgage servicing experience in a financial institution following Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loan servicing requirements.
• Minimum 5 years management/supervisory experience.
• Strong working knowledge of mortgage loan servicing requirements including regulatory and investor guidelines.
• Functional servicing knowledge of Conventional, FHA, FHLB, USDA and other loan programs.
• Working knowledge of servicing systems and data reconciliation processes.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and large servicing portfolios.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to motivate a team.
• Must be proactive and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process-improving operations.
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment and discretion and be able to multi-task.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must have intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• FICS Mortgage Servicer and Corelation Keystone proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and operational execution of all first mortgage and equity loan servicing functions.
