About The Position

OneTrust Home Loans is expanding and has an exciting opportunity for a licensed, motivated Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) to join their team in partnership with a well-known partner. As a Mortgage Loan Originator focused on New Construction Loans, you will guide clients through the unique process of new construction home financing from application to closing. This includes educating borrowers, recommending customized loan solutions, and ensuring a seamless, transparent experience from start to finish. You will have the opportunity to earn and grow by leveraging a new builder relationship.

Requirements

• NMLS License and ability to originate in SC, NC, TN, GA, or VA.
• 2+ years of recent mortgage origination or sales experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mortgage programs, underwriting guidelines, and compliance.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Experience with construction loan origination.
• Detail oriented, able to manage multiple files, and proactive in moving loans efficiently through the pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to assess their financial needs for building a new home and recommend appropriate mortgage products.
• Work alongside real estate agents, home builders, and other referral sources to generate new business and help clients realize their dream of building a home.
• Assist borrowers through the loan application, financial qualification, documentation, and approval process-ensuring all builder-specific requirements are covered.
• Keep clients informed on construction loan options, current market trends, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate loan status updates with processors, underwriters, builders, and closing agents to ensure timely funding and excellent client experiences.
• Meet or exceed monthly production goals while maintaining integrity, compliance, and superior customer service.
