Requirements

  • Must be eligible for NMLS Registration.
  • At least three years of experience in a financial institution with a strong focus on customer service.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills and the ability to work in a diverse community.
  • Passion for providing outstanding service and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution.
  • Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed.
  • Effective time management and flexibility to work department hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college or secondary education is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales or mortgage lending is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Mortgage Loan Originators by guiding members through the mortgage process.
  • Keep loan files organized and compliant.
  • Handle inquiries.
  • Assist with applications.
  • Follow up with prospective borrowers to keep things moving smoothly.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and members to resolve issues.
  • Schedule consultations.
  • Ensure a seamless experience from lead to closing.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Deliver exceptional service.
  • Help members achieve their homeownership goals.
