About The Position

Meridian Trust is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Officer to join their team. This role is responsible for driving the loan process from application to closing with accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist members in achieving their home ownership dreams by providing working knowledge of mortgage loan policies, credit granting criteria, and interest rates. The ideal candidate will be able to discuss loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and loan documentation in an understandable and positive manner. They should also be able to guide members who do not initially qualify, explaining what steps are needed to achieve their goals. This is an in-person position located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with base hourly pay plus incentives.

Requirements

Previous mortgage lending experience required.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring loan details are correct and within compliance.
