About The Position

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by American Banker, is seeking an Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer! This role offers stability, fewer headaches, real support, and compensation that reflects production. The Mortgage Loan Officer will originate residential purchase and refinance loans, build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, educate and guide borrowers, and manage their pipeline. This position offers real support from processors, underwriters, and ops partners, effective marketing strategies, freedom with structure, and leadership that listens. The role allows for remote work and has no caps on commission.

Requirements

• 2 years of mortgage origination experience (purchase -heavy preferred).
• Proven Ability to self-source and close loans.
• Strong knowledge of Jumbo market, relationships in the medical community, as well as conventional, FHA, & VA loan programs.
• Professional reputation you’re proud of.
• Someone who believes that caring about clients will earn you a good living.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential purchase and refinance loans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, doctors, CPA’s, Wealth Advisors/Financial Planners, and other referral partners.
• Educate and guide borrowers with confidence, clarity, and a calm demeanor.
• Manage your pipeline.
• Hit production goals that make sense and get rewarded for them.
