At U.S. Bank, we’re on a journey to do our best. Helping the customers and businesses we serve to make better and smarter financial decisions and enabling the communities we support to grow and succeed. We believe it takes all of us to bring our shared ambition to life, and each person is unique in their potential. A career with U.S. Bank gives you a wide, ever-growing range of opportunities to discover what makes you thrive at every stage of your career. Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One. This position involves originating mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory, taking applications, conducting preliminary underwriting reviews, and submitting loan applications for approval. The role also requires following up to ensure timely securing of necessary documents for processing, underwriting, and closing. Incumbents are regularly engaged in making and soliciting loan sales and conducting sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations, with an expectation to spend at least 50% of their time off-site. National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration is required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.
