About The Position

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for borrowers seeking residential real estate financing. You will evaluate borrower financial profiles, recommend the best loan products, and guide clients from application to closing. The ideal candidate possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of current mortgage regulations. Work closely with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure smooth file progression, resolve loan conditions to ensure on-time closings.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- NMLS Safe Act compliant preferred
- Knowledge of different types of loans and credit bureaus
- Working history of loan process and general underwriting guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in office
- Licensed in every state except New York
Nice To Haves
- College preferred, not required with proven mortgage experience
