Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant

About The Position
This position will report directly to the assigned Mortgage Loan Officers and may also be required to report to Senior Management. The Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) is responsible for providing ongoing and consistent support to the sales process as well as excellent communication with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Notify borrower(s) of documentation required to process a mortgage loan
- Prepare documents for the client in person or in DocuSign
- Organize files for processing
- Order Appraisals for Conventional, FHA, USDA
- Gather homeowners insurance and payoff
- Assist processor in collecting missing documentation for file
- Collect first payments from clients
- Check mortgage messages and return calls
- Assist with gathering closing gifts for clients
- Notify Borrower(s) of closing disclosure / review closing disclosure
- Assist with marketing activities to include event preparation & management
- Database & Pipeline management
