Together, our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to helping you achieve your financial goals. Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Coordinator to join our team. The Loan Coordinator is responsible for the accurate preparation, review, and coordination of loan documents and disclosures to ensure the timely closing of residential and consumer loan transactions. This role serves as a key liaison between mortgage bankers, loan processors, clients, and third-party partners, providing exceptional service while maintaining clear communication throughout the loan process. The Loan Coordinator ensures compliance with applicable regulations, supports efficient workflow management, and helps facilitate a smooth and positive customer experience from application through closing.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
1yr of office administration in mortgage lending environment.

Responsibilities

Evaluate all loan information that has been input into the LOS software for the purpose of creating initial disclosures.
Obtain and organize all required information needed to complete the initial disclosures: credit report, SDAT, estimated HUD’1’s etc.
Create and ensure delivery and accuracy of initial disclosures for all loans within required timeframe.
Assist Processors with all aspects of mortgage loan Processing, as needed. To include, obtaining documentation, ordering appraisals, obtaining flood certs, tax transcripts, insurance policies, etc. and cancelling/denying of dead files.
Complete all required on-line compliance training by designated due date.
Complete other administrative duties for the branch as requested.
Demonstrates compliance awareness by completing all required regulatory and compliance training (e.g., BSA, CRA, ECOA) on or before deadlines, and actively supporting all policies, procedures, and practices that promote risk management, safety, and regulatory adherence.

Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, SAFE Act, etc.; ensures that the office and all personnel adhere to the same.
Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.
