About The Position

Maintain delinquent accounts and initiate action necessary to ensure the prompt collection of delinquent mortgage loans using collection guidelines of various investors and/or insurers of the mortgage loan. This position is responsible for initiating repossession of collateral and other legal action required.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years clerical and office experience, preferably in real estate or mortgage lending collections experience training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General understanding of mortgage loans including FHA, VA, and Conventional loans.
• Knowledge of collection procedures and related laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
