Mortgage Loan Closer
About The Position
The Mortgage Loan Closer performs full-service mortgage loan closing duties. Accurately prepare closing document packages to meet all underwriting, investor and compliance requirements. Ensure all title objections are addressed and will be satisfied prior to or at closing. Timely and effective communication with all parties involved in the transaction. Coordinate timing of closing with banker, ensure we meet contract dates and/or lock exp. Verify that all check and general ledger entries are set up correctly in to ensure accurate accounting records Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and production. Assist with other duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, DU, DO, LP, and origination software.
- Basic internet skills.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently.
- Desire to learn and contribute.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
