About The Position

We’re hiring a sharp, highly accountable Mortgage Intern to support an elite, high-producing mortgage team. This is a temporary position starting immediately, and ending August 28, 2026. This role is for someone who takes pride in doing things well, communicates proactively, and wants hands-on experience inside a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This is not a “just observe” internship. You will contribute to real work that directly impacts the team, clients, and partners. You’ll succeed in this role if you are proactive, organized, and willing to take ownership, even in small tasks. About the Team The Eagle office at Waterstone Mortgage is home to three high-producing Loan Officers and their Loan Partners, working together as one team to deliver a high-level experience for clients and referral partners. The Role As a Mortgage Intern, you will support the day-to-day execution of a high-volume mortgage pipeline while learning the systems, communication, and processes that drive a top-performing operation. This role would support the entire Eagle office including 3 Loan officers and their teams. You will contribute across loan support, client experience, CRM management, and team operations while building foundational skills that can provide long-term career experience.

Responsibilities

  • Scan, upload, and label loan documents accurately and consistently
  • Order Verifications of Employment and follow up as needed
  • Maintain clean, organized loan files
  • Add and update Realtor and client contacts in our CRM: Pipedrive
  • Assist in keeping the pipeline organized and moving forward
  • Make nurture and follow-up calls to clients and partners
  • Coordinate scheduling of appointments with Loan Partners
  • Contact listing agents to gather information such as mailing addresses
  • Build and prepare swag bags and closing gifts
  • Write and send thank you cards
  • Scan receipts and assist with expense tracking
  • Keep kitchen and shared spaces clean and organized
  • Manage backstock and track inventory, order supplies as needed
  • Assist with setting up our new office
  • Support day-to-day office organization and readiness
