About The Position

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors to perform residential property inspections for mortgage lenders. This role offers a flexible schedule and weekly pay. Inspectors will be responsible for verifying property occupancy, reporting general property conditions, delivering letters, conducting vacant interior walk-throughs, and providing insurance repair progress reports. The majority of inspections are exterior, with some requiring door-knocking or letter delivery. Interior access to secured/vacant properties and appointment-based insurance loss inspections will also be part of the role.

Requirements

Complete a background check.
Possess a valid driver's license to obtain a Shield ID (Aspen Grove ABC#).
Have a computer and internet connection.
Own a vehicle with good gas mileage.
Possess an iPhone or Android device.
Have access to a printer.
Own a Volt Stick Set of 11 Hud Keys (Inspector Keys).
Have daylight availability.
Maintain office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink).

Nice To Haves

Experience in mortgage field inspection is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform residential property inspections, including verifying occupancy and reporting general property conditions.
Conduct letter delivery/posting and vacant interior walk-throughs.
Provide insurance repair progress reports.
Spend extended periods of time driving.
Manage time efficiently to complete inspections within an estimated 3-5 day turnaround time.
Make occupancy determinations based on industry standards.
Obtain photographs, comments, and form documentation using the InspectorADE mobile app.
Maintain consistent communication with the inspection manager via text, email, and phone.
