About The Position
Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is a full-service lending company offering both Forward and Reverse Mortgage products including a complete line of residential mortgage, refinancing, specialty, and HECM loans. We employ a knowledgeable staff of experienced Loan Officers with an operations team that is second to none. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mortgage Condo Desk Underwriter to join our team. In this role, you will review and assess condominium project documentation to determine eligibility and compliance with agency and investor guidelines. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of condo project reviews, underwriting standards, and risk assessment within the mortgage industry.
Requirements
- 3+ years previous condo project review experience required.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Reviewing condo questionnaires, budgets, insurance, legal documents, and project approvals while partnering closely with operations, sales, and underwriting teams to ensure timely and accurate decisions.

- Vacation hours accrue on a per pay period basis. Balance maximums are based on years of service.
