About The Position

Children’s Minnesota is seeking pediatric hospital medicine moonlighters to work at their Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses. The Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is one of the largest departments at Children's Minnesota, with over 100 physicians managing sick children. The department is committed to advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through high-value, evidence-based, family-centered care. They partner with the University of Minnesota Pediatrics, Medicine/Pediatrics Residency, and multiple regional Family Medicine Residency Programs to offer broad-based training in pediatrics in the inpatient setting. Hospitalists hold leadership roles in various hospital committees to ensure safe and excellent clinical and patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Doctor of medicine or osteopathy
• Medical Licensure in the State of Minnesota
• BC/BE Pediatrics
• Ability to be successfully credentialed by both Hospital and 3rd Party Payers.
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility
• Desire to learn

Responsibilities
