NOW HIRING! Montessori Toddler Lead Teacher (Ages 2-3)
About The Position
Peak Ave Montessori is seeking a passionate Montessori educator to lead a nurturing, high-quality toddler environment for children ages 2-3. The school is located in Morgan Hill and offers a fully implemented Montessori program designed to support children's natural development, independence, confidence, and love of learning. The Toddler community focuses on fostering independence, language development, and social connections through hands-on activities. The Lead Guide will lead the classroom, inspire children and team members, and create a calm, respectful, and consistent environment where children feel secure and capable. The classroom will consist of 12 toddlers with a teaching team of 2 teachers: a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher.
Requirements
- Experience working with toddlers
- Holds or is pursuing Montessori certification (or is eager to begin)
- Confident leading a classroom and guiding assistants
- Calm, nurturing presence and strong observational skills
- Values consistency, communication, and building strong relationships with families
- Passionate about child development and respectful caregiving practices

- Montessori experience preferred
