About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Montessori Public School of Arlington. The role involves implementing instructional programs that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, communicating with parents/guardians, maintaining student records, collaborating with school staff and community members, and monitoring student achievement. The position also requires attending ongoing professional learning and meetings.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in Elementary Education.
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned areas
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
Nice To Haves
- Montessori Certification
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials

- Maintains complete and accurate student records
- Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members
