About The Position
Peak Avenue Montessori is seeking passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Assistant Teachers for their Nido Community, which supports 12 children with 3 teachers. The school is designed to foster each child's natural curiosity, independence, and emotional growth within a nurturing, Montessori environment. The role involves creating a loving and consistent atmosphere where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. The fully implemented Montessori programs aim to develop independence, creativity, and social connections, fostering confidence and a love for learning.
Requirements
- Experience or a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
- Eagerness to learn and grow as educators.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, supportive team.
- Interest in exploring Montessori education and philosophy.
- Comfort in caregiving tasks including changing diapers, bottle feeding, transition to solids, and safe sleep practices.
