About The Position
Montessori Certified Guides have been uniquely trained to deliver an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. As a Montessori Certified Guide you are an expert in sharing an authentic Montessori experience by implementing the Montessori curriculum and facilitating engaging interactive learning experiences. You will also be responsible for following all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Developing your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families is key. Completing ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics is also a requirement.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program (MACTE preferred).
- Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school or related field.
- Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.
Nice To Haves
- Previous lead teacher experience preferred.
