About The Position

The Assistant Principal assists and supports the Principal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, authentic Montessori programming, as well as supporting staff training and development, student enrollment, parent and community relations, and facility management. This role facilitates the creation of an engaging learning environment, and supports teachers and staff in their needs as they guide young learners through critical years.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Must successfully clear criminal background check
Minimum one year teaching experience required
Meets minimum education and experience requirements to comply with applicable state regulation and accrediting boards, including holding any state required director certifications
Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language.
Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction.

Nice To Haves

Montessori experience preferred
three years’ teaching experience preferred
