Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and administering Dynatrace or monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, including dashboards, alerting policies, and service mapping
  • Experience with Dynatrace and SolarWinds platform deployment, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Experience integrating monitoring solutions with ServiceNow for automated incident, event, and CMDB workflows
  • Experience with log aggregation, event correlation, and performance analytics tools
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, application, and network monitoring concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot in complex enterprise environments
  • Ability to work across engineering, operations, and program teams
  • Public Trust clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience with system engineering, or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering and 10+ years of experience with system engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing or operating observability platforms, including APM, logging, metrics, or tracing at enterprise scale
  • Experience with event correlation, AIOps platforms, or machine‑learning‑based alerting
  • Experience with automation and scripting, including PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
  • Experience developing monitoring strategies for hybrid or modernized infrastructures
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and cloud‑native monitoring services
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and how monitoring aligns with incident, problem, and change management
  • Knowledge of supporting large federal, DoD, or public‑sector IT environments
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the monitoring discipline
  • Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, or related Monitoring or ITSM Technologies Certifications
