Monitor Technician
About The Position
Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community. The Monitor Technician, under the direction and supervision of the Administrative Director, is responsible for observing the cardiac oscilloscope, documenting and mounting rhythm tracings; manning the nursing station; performing clerical and receptionist duties, and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services from other departments. The incumbent will assure accuracy, flexibility and utilize high organization skills and positive communication techniques when communicating with all individuals.
Requirements
- Medical terminology required
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware
- Proven organizational and positive communication skills
- Madera Community Hospital Basic Arrhythmia Exam course certification with score 80% or above
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program
- Graduate of Medical Office Technology Program
- Microsoft skills helpful
- Minimum one year Nursing Assistant work experience or equivalent
