About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Monitor Technician to support continuous cardiac monitoring in an acute care environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, vigilance, and the ability to promptly identify and communicate critical cardiac events to the clinical team.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
- Hands-on experience with: Monitoring vital signs
- Hands-on experience with: Reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips
- High School Diploma or GED required
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
- EKG Certification (required)
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of acute care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and detect rhythm abnormalities
- Accurately interpret cardiac waveforms, rhythm strips, and measurements
- Observe patients and promptly respond to any changes in condition
- Document vital signs and cardiac activity with precision
- Communicate critical findings to nursing and medical staff in a timely manner
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
