About The Position
The Monitor Technician observes the cardiac rhythm of patients in the assigned unit, assesses patients status and reports the patients cardiac rhythm to medical/nursing staff. This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires.
