About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Monitor Technician to join a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and continuous patient observation to ensure timely identification of abnormalities and patient safety.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of total experience, including at least 1 year in acute care
• Strong experience in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• EKG Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA Required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry systems
• Accurately interpret EKG/ECG rhythm strips
• Identify and promptly report cardiac abnormalities to clinical staff
• Perform and record vital signs as required
• Observe, interpret, and document cardiac waveforms and measurements
• Maintain continuous patient observation for safety and quality care
• Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation per facility standards
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition
