MONITOR TECH PER DIEM NIGHTS
About The Position
The Alan B. Miller Medical Center is a new, state-of-the-art hospital that will be part of UHS's growing regional network of healthcare operations. It will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building, and a helistop. Upon completion, the hospital campus will span 365,000 square feet and offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Neurosurgical services. The campus will also include medical office buildings for outpatient services. This role is for a Monitor Tech, Per Diem Nights, responsible for observing telemetry monitors and assessing rhythms continually to report changes to the primary nurse.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of basic EKG course.
- One to three years of experience required.
- Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology
- Completion of EKG course and able to pass EKG test.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for observing telemetry monitors and assessing rhythms on a continual basis to report changes to the primary nurse.
