Requirements
- High School (or GED equivalent) diploma
- Completion of the telemetry/cardiac monitoring course
- Fluency in the English language to function in the job environment appropriately
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to multitask constantly and tolerate interruptions
- Must be able to work in a high-stress area
- Must display good communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior monitor tech experience
- Medical terminology helpful
Responsibilities
- Responsible for continuous surveillance and interpretation, and reporting of monitor and telemetry tracings from the telemetry central console.
