About The Position
The monitor tech shall be responsible for assisting in the care of patients by continual observation of any patient on a cardiac monitor, under the direction of an RN or LPN.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in patient care and oral communication skills
- Obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS CPR
- Maintain any other requirements for each specific department
- Complete required departmental competencies and maintain them through annual review
