About The Position
This position is at our Augusta facility. It is a day shift role, working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Successful completion of PHC telemetry monitoring competency assessment within 30 Days Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as a monitor technician
- Certification as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) through the American Education Certification Association
- Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias interpretation including: measurement of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations.
- Troubleshoot monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and seek solutions to correct the problem.
- Maintain inventories, supplies, hardware and telemetry transmitters in working condition.
- Appropriately report malfunctions promptly as applicable.
