About The Position

The Monitor and Equipment Specialist position will involve taking information on existing accounts as well as newly acquired account and maximizing their monitor and equipment efficiency. The position will require trouble shooting existing installs and coaching vendors through both repairs and new installs of monitoring equipment. The position will also be responsible for equipment installations and the life cycle of the equipment at those accounts. This position will drive the efficiency of the group by analyzing best practices and improvements in monitored and accounts with equipment.

Requirements

High school graduate required.
Minimum of three years’ experience in a distribution related activity
General knowledge of lubricant and fuel terminology
Proven experience with monitor functionality, installation, set up and abilities
Ability improve delivery activities and drive for reliability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion while managing 7 day/week operations
Capable of multi-tasking and professionally interacting with others in a fast-paced, work environment
Ability to use good judgment, initiative, and make good decisions with limited supervision
Knowledge of inventory management and job costing
Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Must have strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively present information, conduct training, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers

Nice To Haves

College courses preferred.
Excel proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze the monitor alarm reporting
Provide continuous improvement to safeguard our customer’s product inventory levels
Maintain inventory control for internal and external resources
Audit monitor locations daily and ensure overall accuracy of readings
Proactively identifies and communicates any risk for customer deliveries
Report on KPIs associated to loaned equipment and monitors
Reporting of vendor performance
Provide analysis, strategy, and trends on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Set up all new monitor/equipment units in system. Either through MOP staff or vendors.
Coach vendors on what is expected from them on new installs and repairs.
Actual work as well as paperwork flow
Schedule vendors for repairs of monitors/equipment causing efficiency issues and needing service.
Take calls from vendors on location for support.
Assuring accurate installs and reading levels at problem locations
Issue PO to vendors for service calls of problem locations
Approve invoices after vendors have made repairs at service call locations. Send to Angela upon completion
Make sure vendors have correct equipment at each location
Make sure MOP has needed equipment to maintain tank farms
Handle RMA’s of leased equipment
Recommend corrective action as monitor/equipment issues are discovered
Ensure that all tasks related to equipment/monitors are completed accurately and timely in ERP system
Responsible for the completion of special projects or the assignment of other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
