About The Position

Responsible for opening/closing vault. Maintaining vault balance throughout shift. Controlling flow of money room throughout shift. Handles all Money Room duties when necessary. Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required. Required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Texas Racing Commission license. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 2 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or combination.
• Cash Handling experience
• Ability to operate a standard PC keyboard quickly and accurately at or above the minimum acceptance rate.
• Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
• Excellent cash handling skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Texas Racing Commission license.

• General accounting experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintains vault balance throughout shift.
• Counts, sorts, and issues money to team members from all departments to conduct daily transactions at racetrack.
• Compares workers' reports of cash collected and paid out to verify accuracy of transactions.
• Communicates all money room activities to Money Room Manager.
