About The Position

The Molecular Technician supports the processing of cell lines and molecular organisms used in production. This role works in a regulated laboratory environment and plays a critical part in ensuring products are manufactured accurately, safely, and according to quality and regulatory standards. Depending on experience, this role may also support training, process improvements, and day-to-day team leadership.

Requirements

Experience working in a laboratory or regulated manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
Comfort working with biological materials using aseptic techniques
Basic proficiency operating laboratory equipment
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Hands-on laboratory experience
Comfort working in a BSL-2 laboratory environment
Knowledge of aseptic technique and laboratory equipment
Ability to follow procedures with a strong focus on quality and compliance

Nice To Haves

Degree or coursework in a science-related field
Experience with cell culture, microbiology or molecular lab techniques

Responsibilities

Process cell line and molecular products following standard operating procedures
Prepare sterility samples, perform testing, and interpret technical data
Complete batch records, lot documentation, and production paperwork accurately and on time
Maintain sterile workspaces and follow clean room and aseptic techniques
Adhere to quality systems, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO)
Communicate production issues, deviations, or concerns to leadership
Participate in safety training, team meetings, and cross-functional collaboration
Support training, inventory management, preventative maintenance, or process improvements based on level
