The Molecular Oncology Specialist’s (MOS) primary responsibilities are to develop and successfully execute sales strategies to ensure achievement of revenue goals for oncology services by focusing on strategic selling opportunities of Agendia franchise products (i.e. MammaPrint, BluePrint, etc.) within an assigned territory: New England Territory- MA, CT, NH, VT, ME, up to White Plains, NY. The MOS identifies, targets, educates, and manages accounts including hospitals, pathology groups, oncologists, and surgeons. They analyze the designated territory to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes, drive new oncology business, maintain customer relationships, and exceed sales targets. The role involves representing the company at trade shows, attending meetings and training programs, and providing ongoing communication to the Regional Sales Director regarding business opportunities and issues. The MOS must maintain a database of customers and targets in SFDC (Salesforce) and work closely with marketing on regional market trends, competitive threats, and new testing opportunities. They must also follow all company health and safety policies and procedures, and conduct all business in accordance with relevant regulations and company policy, demonstrating high ethical and professional standards. The MOS is required to reside in their assigned territory and provide timely administrative duties, including expense and call reports. While an MOS can provide test report orientation guidance, they should avoid making specific patient management or treatment recommendations.
