About The Position

Patriot Foundry is hiring a Molding Utility Technician in Franklin, New Hampshire. The role handles the foundry’s sand supply and prepares sand molds for pouring. The position pays $20–$22 per hour, depending on experience, with a bonus incentive tied to objective performance metrics. The foundry has operated for nearly 40 years and produces aluminum and bronze castings. The work schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting 30 or more pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.
• Frequently lift loads weighing 30–100 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptability and attention to detail.
• U.S. citizenship or documented residency.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent performance.
• Remain cautious and alert while working.

Responsibilities

• Transport, prepare, and control molding sand for further processing using a bucket loader, muller, and conveyor system.
• Prepare assembled sand molds using weights and jackets, then use a conveyor system and forklift to transport them for pouring.
• Remove, screen, and reclaim sand from poured molds using hand tools and a bucket loader.
• Palletize and transport castings by forklift to further-processing stations on site.
• Follow procedures and report issues as they occur.
• Keep the work area and machines clean and in good working order.
