About The Position

Sets up, runs, and troubleshoots plastic injection molding equipment to process complex medical devices and components in an ISO-controlled clean room. Performs in-process inspections and documents results, collects manufacturing data, and enters it into various computer systems. Reads and follows work instructions and performs operations autonomously and/or under direct supervision. The role requires working onsite at the assigned company location as an essential function.

Requirements

Ability to work with small-diameter parts requiring tight tolerances and high-quality finishes.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings and follow work instructions.
Good mechanical and math aptitude.
Proficiency with computers and technology.
Good communication skills.
Dependable, efficient, and productive work habits.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High school diploma or GED, or graduation from a vocational school in manufacturing or machining.

Nice To Haves

3–6 years of experience in manufacturing or machine operating.

Responsibilities

Set up, run, and troubleshoot plastic injection molding equipment.
Use inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Make machine adjustments and offsets without supervision.
Maintain a high standard of work quality.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
Keep records of inspections and parts run.
Accurately record and report pertinent information and labor hours.
Strive to maximize efficiency and improve quality.
Perform ERP system transactions.
Implement continuous improvement activities as directed by a Supervisor or Manager.
Perform intermediate-level maintenance on equipment.
Adapt to changing priorities under the direction of leads or supervisors.
Perform cross-functional tasks to support a continuously improving environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
