About The Position

Amcor is seeking a Molding Tech - Mold Hanger to join their team. This role involves performing machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers, and necessary adjustments to ensure processes are in control. The position also includes daily machine inspections, cleaning mold cavities, hanging mold tools, troubleshooting machines and peripheral equipment, and entering data onto production and quality paperwork. Safety is a key aspect of this role, requiring adherence to LOTO procedures and conducting safety inspections of equipment and tooling. The Molding Tech will also promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, and ISO.

Requirements

Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, color changes, changeovers and necessary adjustments to insure processes are in control at all times.
Perform daily machine inspections
Re-start Molding machines after first-shot approval.
Clean mold cavities
Hang mold tools
Troubleshoot the machines and peripheral equipment as needed
Enter data onto production and quality paperwork
Assist Molding CPO and PETs as needed
Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.
Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.
Within the confines of the job, ensure the safe operation of all equipment prior to turning it back over to running production.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Promote plant goals such as Safety/Housekeeping, Quality, GMP, and ISO.
