About The Position

This position is responsible for understanding the functions and operating the molding machine, setting up molding machines, and maintaining production standards. The role also involves handling and setting cores without damage, inserting production counts into ShopVue, and maintaining a clean work area. Adherence to company rules, safety procedures, and wearing required PPE are essential.

Requirements

Must be able to understand the functions and operate the molding machine.
Must be able setup molding machines.
Must be able to maintain production standards.
Must be able to handle and set cores in a manner not to damage them.
Must be able to insert production counts in ShopVue.
Must keep work area and department clean.
Must wear required PPE and follow company rules.
Must work and follow all safety procedures.
Understand safety policy.
Must be able to make minor adjustments for certain jobs and patterns.
Must be able to identify quality issues.
Must be able to blow out before and after the setting of cores.
Must be able to hold and set cores in the mold.
Understands written and verbal Work Instructions.
Work 10 hrs. or more a day, including weekends if needed.
Strong focus on safety, risk avoidance and situational awareness.
Communicate effectively with co-worker and supervisors in a professional manner.
Must have excellent attendance.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to push and pull frequently.
Frequent bending at the waist.
Continuous use of arms/hands.
