It All Begins With Sand — and the People Who Shape It. Before molten aluminum is poured, before sparks fly, and before massive equipment or everyday products come to life, there’s a critical step most people never see. At Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, our Molder Core Makers build the sand molds and cores that control where our molten aluminum flows, how it cools, and how strong the final casting becomes. Every curve, cavity, and passage starts in your hands. When the metal is poured, it follows the path you created—turning sand into the blueprint for parts used in heavy equipment, agriculture, and transportation across the country. On top of a rewarding job that serves over 400 + industries, our Molder Core Makers start at $25.25 an hour. Work hours will be Monday – Friday 2:00 PM -10:00 PM. No two days are exactly the same. You’ll be challenged, stay engaged, and continue learning. This is skilled, physical work that rewards precision and pride. You’ll measure, pack, set, and inspect sand molds and cores that must hold up under extreme heat and pressure. There’s no shortcut here, your accuracy determines the quality of the finished product. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and knowing that what you build matters, you’ll feel right at home in at our foundry. What are you waiting for, apply now!
