About The Position

Amcor is seeking a Mold Setter to join their team. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently changing molds according to the production schedule. The Mold Setter will also be involved in setting up and testing robots, performing mold repairs, and maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment. Adherence to food-safety, SQF, ISO, and HACCP procedures is crucial. This position is for an 8-hour day shift.

Requirements

1-2 years heavy equipment experience required
Previous knowledge of SQF and ISO guidelines

Nice To Haves

Previous injection molding experience a plus
High School Diploma/ GED preferred

Responsibilities

Follow schedule and change molds in a safe and efficient manner
Change/ pull molds for repair, ect. as instructed by immediate supervisor
Proper setup and testing of robots as needed
Notify immediate supervisor of any issue or problems encountered while changing molds
Perform other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor
Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment
Report any unsafe conditions and/or equipment to the immediate supervisor
Lockout any unsafe equipment and takes necessary action, complete a work order to maintenance department as needed. Notify immediate supervisor
Inspect condition of holes in platen at each mold change. Repair holes needing attendance
Be familiar with and follow all food-safety procedures/ instructions related to your work
Be familiar with and follow all ISO, SQF, and HACCP procedures/ instructions related to your work
