About The Position

The mold setter is responsible for positioning and setting up molds for the manufacturing of products or components made of various materials. This role requires technical and mechanical skills to set and pull molds, repairs and maintenance of machines, mold upgrades, and removal of auxiliary equipment using hand and power tools. The position also involves completing all necessary paperwork and documentation.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience setting up and operating mold injection equipment.
Possess technical and mechanical skills to set and pull molds.
Proficient with calipers and other hand tools.
Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Able to follow instructions.
Excellent written and oral skills.
Clear communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Positioning and setting up molds for the manufacturing of products or components.
Repairs and maintains machines, mold upgrades, and removes auxiliary equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Sets and pulls molds.
Completes all paperwork and documentation.
Follows instructions, communicates with others, and follows safety procedures.
Reports to work on time every day and is at the assigned workstation on time.
Communicates well with team and upper management.
Performs multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
Follows documented procedures and standards.
Works independently with little supervision.
Wears PPE.
