About The Position

The Mold Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the molding department, including supervising staff, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. This role focuses on maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

3–5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience required
Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience improving processes and driving efficiency
Must follow all PPE and safety requirements

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

Analyze work orders and develop production and machining schedules
Ensure proper allocation of materials, staffing, and equipment to meet production demands
Coordinate with internal teams to meet customer deadlines
Supervise, train, and support employees within the molding department
Assign work, monitor performance, and address employee concerns
Foster a productive, team-oriented work environment
Inspect parts and processes to ensure compliance with specifications
Direct adjustments to machines and processes to maintain product quality
Develop and implement improvements to production methods and equipment performance
Identify and resolve operational issues, supporting team members in problem-solving
Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
Lead corrective actions from safety audits and track progress
Support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives
Create and maintain work instructions and procedures
Communicate production issues and updates to leadership
Maintain workplace organization standards (5S)
