About The Position
MSI Mold Builders in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking to hire a full-time Mold Maker on 2nd shift to create and make tooling to match part drawings. Requirements
- 1+ years of industry experience
- Journeyman toolmaker education
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to perform the physical demands of this position
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Excellent problem solver
- Ability to keep composure in stressful situations

Responsibilities
- Create and make tooling to match part drawings.
- Operate equipment, including a surface grinder, manual mill, drill press, and spotting press.
- Use various kinds of hand, electronic, and pneumatic tooling.
- Read blueprints and use ingenuity to accurately and efficiently finish mold-making projects.
- Coordinate with assembly team members.
- Attend company meetings.
