About The Position

We are seeking a Mold Maker C who is skilled at proving essential functions and maintaining injection molds that are essential for producing large quantities of medical devices. G&F Precision Molding Inc. is agile, innovative, and customer-centric, with a goal to provide specialized, creative solutions. Our core business is life science, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals, and we provide custom solutions to manufacturing needs, tackling challenging projects from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience
  • High School Diploma – Trade Technical School, preferred or Equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to analyze production schedules and maximize machine utilization.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions and inspect produced parts.
  • Ability to wear full PPE in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment up to 45 pounds.
  • Move Equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for up to 8 hours per day.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate Production: Work closely with Production to stay on schedule
  • Systems Management: Log in w/Formation/IQMS
  • Schedule Optimization: Develop preventative maintenance, repair schedules and workflow procedures to maximize machine utilization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with technicians to complete all work orders
  • Team Performance: Work as a team to keep things running smoothly
  • Problem Solve: Proactively gather information to decide on immediate process actions
  • Drive Excellence: Coach and train team members to enhance capabilities
  • Quality & Safety: Comply with safety rules and the quality management system
  • Carry's out minor mold repairs with supervision.
  • Maintains a record of job hours for new tools, repairs, and special projects.
  • Performs daily maintenance of molds at presses as required.
