About The Position
This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The starting pay for this position is $14.40/hour. All positions are safety sensitive. A safety sensitive position is any position designated in writing by an employer, in which a person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety. Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing and pass a PFT test.
Requirements
- Knowledge of good mold maintenance practices and procedures (preventive maintenance, repair, overhauls).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Supports production by building or repairing plastic injection molds.
- Follow standard work process to ensure best practice following schedule and quality requirements.
- Operate manual tool room equipment.
- Sets up equipment by studying mold components, materials, tolerances, and machine capabilities
- Perform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.
- Perform PM/Overhaul activities.
- Follow and update PM/Overhaul schedules for molds.
- Perform repairs and improvements to molds.
- Modify molds for Engineering changes and improvements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mold related problems.
- Keep constant communication with supervisor and team members.
