About The Position
TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the Mold Maintenance Technician position in our Findlay, Ohio Molding Division. This role is responsible for maintaining tools through preventative maintenance and repair, and providing support to manufacturing and maintenance teams.
Requirements
- Journeyman level machinist or mold technician equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and excellent time management skills.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Injection Molding is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and major mold maintenance.
- Ensure mold storage requirements are met and maintained.
- Complete preventative maintenance on molds and document the process.
- Work with metal and non-metals.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and symbols.
- Understand basic mechanics, lubricants, bearings, pumps, and power transmission equipment.
