About The Position
We are looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician in the 2nd Shift Mold Maintenance Department. Support department members. Perform specific duties according to pre-established procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate the overhead crane
- Ability to disassemble clean and reassemble injection and rim molds
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of mold tooling
- Understanding of plastics
- Proficient at Mig and Tig welding
- Knowledge of precision measuring devices
- Experience using manual mill, lathe, surface grinder
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on injection molds
- Perform preventive maintenance activities on Rim molds
- Participate in shop related continuous improvement activities
- Document all results and actions using shop reporting systems
